About Edward Boos, PA-C
Eddie is delighted to be a part of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Associates team. He completed his Physician Assistant training at Mercer University – Atlanta Campus. He served as the class president of a cohort, recognized nationally for its commitment to philanthropy and physician assistant advocacy. Upon graduation, Eddie was awarded the Master of Medical Science degree and received the prestigious Leadership Award for his graduating class. While his interests in the field are diverse, he looks forward to focusing on the treatment and education of children and their families in a fun and engaging manner.
Prior to attending Mercer University, Eddie spent nearly two years working as a medical assistant in an orthopedic practice. He was exposed to a variety of orthopedic conditions involving the upper and lower extremities, sports medicine, and orthopedic complications of diabetes. This experience equipped him with many skills pertinent to orthopedic practice and further strengthened his interest in the field.
Eddie is also a proud graduate of the University of Georgia where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Outside of the classroom, Eddie devoted his time to music as a saxophonist. He was a leader within the UGA Redcoat Marching Band for 3 years, including a stint as Drum Major, a rarity for non-music majors, his senior year.
Eddie is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has lived in Georgia since the age of twelve. If you were to catch-up to Eddie outside of work, you would likely find him running, biking, playing soccer, or cheering on any sports team from the City of Brotherly Love and UGA (Go Dawgs!). When his sports appetite has been satisfied, Eddie likes to exercise his brain, particularly by watching Jeopardy or by honing his cooking and grilling techniques.
